Description

To deepen our understanding of the B-GATA role in nitrogen growth responses, we want to perform a comparative RNAseq analysis on wild type and mutant Physcomitrium protonema and Arabidopsis seedlings at three time points after transfer from a nitrogen-free to a nitrogen-containing medium. This approach will lead to the identification of nitrogen-responsive genes directly regulated by B-GATAs in both species, and will allow for a comparative evolutionary analysis of their targets during land plant evolution.
